My name is Trudy Lebans. Sometimes I use my full name, Gertrude. I am a poet, a grand/mother, a partner, an anglican priest, a theologian, and a wildly imaginative, mindful, intentional human being.
I have worked as a facilitator of creative, intergenerational, and educational experiences across Canada for the past 30 years. I have been a university chaplain, an urban and suburban priest, and principal of the Centre for Christian Studies. I have published several books on liturgy, ministry, theology, and poetry. Food and photography never cease to delight me.
I write because I must.
